Fear

Avoid what other people have defined as success: money, material things, or anything else. Define success for yourself.

Many people would have you believe that a successful life is filled with fame, pleasures, money, or the accumulation of pretty objects. Yet, as you age, you will realize you have been fooled by your sophisticated - neurological-driven - biological body - and mind - a fear response - a survival instinct.

Imagine another life for yourself - one filled with love - and adoration of many and the knowledge that you have lived and will have left this earth a little better than when you arrived. Inhale this peace - this joy - this truth.

Life is part of an infinite game,

and we all feel the pressure of the finite time we have left to play it.

You have a choice every day. Will you choose to spend your days and time striving for the hollow safety of things, fame, money, fleeting pleasures?

Or will you embrace an existence that is filled with daily kisses from loved ones, a smile for a child, playful games filled with laughter, dancing embraces, sweet wind on your face, and the smell of trees, flowers, and the sea, a deep, peaceful waking to sunrises, and the lullaby sleeping under the stars

a hug.

When we take the time to disconnect - to remember and reconnect to ourselves deeply - the child inside - unencumbered by the weight of the life we've lived, can allow us all to embody the joy of experiencing and exploring the world for the first time, again. To experiment joyfully, laughing at mistakes and successes equally while we gleefully share them.
