Coaching & Training

The athlete inside
your kid already knows.

Assessment-first training programs for youth athletes, adults, groups, and organizations. 12-week cycles built on twenty-seven years of methodology -- because every body deserves to be coached like it matters.

The Approach

We assess before we prescribe.

Most training programs start with a template and apply it to whoever shows up. Ours starts with the athlete -- who they are, how they move, what their body is telling us, and what they need right now, not what a spreadsheet says they should do.

This is the methodology born from the story -- a near-death experience, a blood test that changed everything, and thirty-five years of a promise kept. The belief that a simple assessment can change the entire trajectory of a life.

Being an athlete is not a status you earn. It is who you already are. The work is to help people remember.

Every engagement starts with assessment and ends with a person who understands their own body better than when they walked in. That is the only metric that matters.

In Their Own Words

“Tomas is a rare find. He has both extraordinary knowledge and an absolute commitment to the health and betterment of his clients. Spend 15 minutes with him and you will see this to be undeniably true. I gladly give him the highest recommendation.”

— Tom Efinger

“I train with Tomas 2–3x a week. He keeps my body prepared for whatever I want to do — backcountry skiing, week-long trips remotely on motorbikes, or a weekend soccer game in the park with my 16-year-old son. Since I first walked into his studio 20 years ago, I’ve benefitted from his expertise, focus and ability to make fitness fun, challenging and address my specific movement differences. Our whole family has grown up in his care. As a father of a young athlete who has suffered a serious knee injury playing soccer, I know that Tomas will apply all his skills and talent in helping him recover and be the best he can be again.”

— Zeke Freeman

“I cannot say enough good things about Tomas! When I began training, I had two herniated discs and my everyday was full of discomfort. Tomas met with me and my multiple notes and reports from all the doctors I had seen, and gave me over an hour of his time for free. It was a very informative discussion and I knew I would be in good hands. Within 6–9 months I was feeling so much better, had learned a great deal about my body and daily maintenance, and progressed to a more strenuous workout — soon jumping rope! It is truly a special place run by very special and talented people!”

— Millie Perry

Who We Work With
A

Adults

1:1 programs for adults who want to train with purpose -- whether returning from injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply refusing to accept that "slowing down" is inevitable. Assessment-first. Evidence-based. Built around your life.

1:1 Programs
G

Groups

Small-group training for teams, families, or training partners who want individualized programming within a shared environment. Each athlete is assessed and programmed individually -- the group provides the culture.

O

Organizations

Consulting engagements for schools, clubs, and youth sports organizations who want to embed assessment-first methodology into their programs. Includes coach training, protocol design, and ongoing support.

Schools / Clubs / Programs

We work with athletic directors, head coaches, and program leaders to build sustainable athlete development systems -- not one-off clinics. The goal is to change how your organization thinks about the athletes in its care.

The 12-Week Cycle

Every program follows
the same architecture.

Twelve weeks is enough time to create real, measurable change. Short enough to stay focused. Long enough to build something that lasts. Every cycle follows three phases -- regardless of age, sport, or starting point.

Phase 1

Assess

Comprehensive baseline assessment -- movement quality, strength asymmetries, sport-specific demands, injury history, recovery capacity. We learn who the athlete is before we write a single rep.

Weeks 1--2
Phase 2

Build

Individualized programming based on assessment findings. Progressive overload, tempo prescriptions, targeted correctives. Adjusted weekly based on response and readiness.

Weeks 3--10
Phase 3

Measure

Reassessment against baseline. Quantified progress. Clear documentation of what changed, what improved, and what the next cycle should prioritize. No guesswork.
